It’s shawl weather! The Indiana air is turning crisp, and there’s something about working on a new, easy-going crochet shawl pattern. This one is packed full of texture and cozy. The stitch combination used in this rectangular shawl pattern creates a beautiful texture that is different, but equally stunning on both sides.
There is a combination of half double crochet stitches in the front and back loops, combined with puff stitches in a soothing pattern to make. Additionally, there is a nice trim added to the long edges to give it a really polished look. Because of all these stitches and skills, I consider this an intermediate crochet pattern. The premium PDF includes a stitch chart and additional photos so you can see visuals of the tricky spots.

Introducing the St. Peregrine Shawl Crochet Pattern
St. Peregrine is the patron saint for persons suffering from cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses. Because I know you likely crochet for charity too, I wanted to design a specific prayer shawl and hat pattern in honor of St Peregrine.
Lion Brand Yarn provided me with the yarn for this shawl and it was my first time working with Feels Like Butta yarn. I am in love with the feel of it and wanted to ensure I used a yarn that would feel really luxurious to the person who receives this prayer shawl.
