The chunky cozy crochet scarf pattern is a really fun project to make, that works up really fast. In the time it takes to watch a movie, you can whip up a scarf for yourself with some super bulky yarn.

Do you love making quick crochet projects like me too? I really like crocheting projects of all kinds, but sometimes there is something extra satisfying in being able to crochet an entire project from start to finish in one sitting.

Winter is coming and this scarf will keep your neck warm and toasty, while accessorizing any outfit.

This scarf would make a great teacher gift too! They will love wearing this for recess duty and dismissal because it can be wrapped a few times to keep the wind and weather out.

Introducing the Chunky Cozy Scarf

I love mixing stitches to keep projects interesting while making them, as well as giving them some visual interest. This scarf uses beginner stitches – single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet – along with some bobble stitches for a pop of texture.

If you haven’t made a bobble stitch before, I think you’re going to like it. There are several variations of bobble stitches, and this scarf uses three double crochet stitches together. There is a photo tutorial below to walk you through all of the steps.

You can also customize this scarf in several ways. The pattern includes instructions to make an infinity scarf or regular scarf. You can also add fringe, tassels or pom-poms.

You can buy the ad-free, PDF of this pattern on Etsy, Ravelry, and LoveCrafts.
