Easter is just around the corner! If you haven’t started already, I have asked my designer pals for help in putting together this long list of Easter crochet patterns so you can make something for yourself and your loved ones this year. These talented designers have created some beautiful Easter-themed crochet patterns for home decor, baskets, a variety of beautiful eggs, crosses, accessories, and more!
Favorite Patterns to Crochet for Easter
When my oldest was a baby, one of the first projects I made for him was Emma the Bunny from my Edward’s Menagerie book (or see the new book version) as an Easter gift. I then made the same bunny in a different color yarn for each of my kids. We pull them out every Easter and it’s fun to watch them play and snuggle with their bunnies.
Have you crocheted eggs yet or are you still using the plastic ones? There are a number of egg patterns below! The Easter Bunny still hides the plastic ones at my house for the kids to find, but I have my eye on making some more crochet eggs to use as vase and basket filler decor. Currently, the kids pretend they are the Easter Bunny and hide eggs for one another. But after a while, it turns into an egg-throwing contest. At least there isn’t a mess!
Another great project to make this time of year that is perfect for all ages is a pocket prayer square. These are great for little hands (and quiet!) not to mention you can make one in about 15-minutes. Also, if you are involved in First Reconciliation or First Communion at your church, these would make great gifts to each of the kids.
