We’re in the final days of 2022. I can’t believe it’s almost a new year! So much has happened this year and taking a look back at everything makes me even more grateful for the support you have given me en route to publishing 15 patterns. While that might not be as many as other designers, it blows my mind that my creative outlet after work and family time continues to bring me so much joy.
These patterns a perfect for gift-giving and include things like blankets, hats and ear warmers, scarves, cowls and home decor projects. Most are beginner-friendly or for the advanced beginner, and each can be customized to the colors and sizes for everyone on your list.
This was the second full year in business for Remington Lane Crochet, and it’s been fun to watch the growth – for myself as a designer, for my cherished crochet community, for the new pattern testers and designer friends I’ve made, for participating in new opportunities and events, plus the new skills I learned (I’m talking to you overlay mosaic crochet)!
How much has your crochet grown in 2022? Did you learn a new stitch or technique? Did you finish a project on your bucket list? I’d love to hear what you’re most proud of in the last year.
To ring in the new year, I’m going to give away some prizes! You can enter below to win the entire 2022 pattern collection. One lucky winner will win the entire 16-pattern collection!

First, thanks for sharing your talent; I love your style.
My favorite pattern of the year is the cancer strong infinity scarf; it drapes beautifully and supporting those with cancer, and their families, is a great cause.
The St. Peregrine ear warmer is bookmarked as a gift to make for all the nieces, and perhaps myself.
A cozy ridges afghan for myself in a dark sage is in the near future. The Harmony CAL was/is a great resource for learning/practicing SO many interesting patterns, but I want a one color, one texture cozy blanket for me. I just have to find the right yarn.
Happy 2023!
You’re so welcome! I’m so grateful you found some patterns you love – appreciate your kind words! Happy 2023 to you too!
